Shoes

We hope you're pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of your Burberry purchase. To help prolong the life of your shoes, please refer to the care instructions below or seek advice from a professional cobbler.

Coated Fabrics & Plastic

Our coated fabrics have a water-repellent finish that helps limit the risk of staining. The leather used for the trims is natural and may become discoloured through contact with dark-dyed materials. Deep or bright colours could transfer onto lighter-coloured garments. Slight colour change, fading or abrasion may also occur in areas of greatest wear.

Please handle your shoes with care. Always use a shoehorn and loosen any laces completely when putting them on and taking them off. Protect your shoes from rain, direct light and heat, and avoid pulling or snagging trims and embellishments. If wet, dry immediately with a soft, clean cloth.

Try not to scratch or rub your shoes against abrasive surfaces. Clean only with a soft, damp cloth. For trims, use a soft, dry cloth. Light marks may be removed by sponging with a neutral pH cleaning agent. Do not use solvents.

Only use specialist care products, always follow the instructions and test on an inconspicuous area first. Keep away from heat sources (radiators, car interiors in the summer, etc.). Avoid contact with any products containing alcohol (perfume, solvents, etc.), grease (make-up) or abrasives.

If needed, remove the laces and handwash them in a mild cleaning solution. Allow to dry naturally, away from direct heat.

Before storing your shoes, clean them gently and fill with tissue paper to help maintain the shape and absorb humidity. Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and sources of extreme heat or cold.

Our leather shoes have been created using handcrafted techniques and carefully selected materials. They may show natural variations in the grain and colour, and are susceptible to scratches, abrasions and fading in the areas of greatest wear. Dye may transfer to lighter-coloured materials.

Jewellery

We hope your Burberry jewellery becomes a treasured part of your collection. To help preserve its appearance, please follow the care recommendations below.

– Store your jewellery in its original packaging or wrapped in tissue in a fabric-lined box.

– Avoid prolonged exposure to intense light or heat.

– Apply perfumes, hairspray, and other cosmetics before putting on your jewellery, as these substances can dull its shine.

– Keep the piece dry unless cleaning. Avoid contact with chlorinated or saltwater, saunas, steam rooms or any environment with high heat and humidity.

– If cleaning is required, gently wash the item by hand in lukewarm filtered or soft water with a small amount of pH-neutral, mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or soaps. After rinsing, dry immediately with a lint-free cloth to remove moisture and restore brilliance.
