Men's Heritage Trench Coats
Our 100-year-old design, proudly made in England in four colours and in five fits including our newest cut, The Chelsea. Add your initials in one of 15 thread colours to the inside of the coat.
In two styles: The Chelsea is our narrowest fit, with a tapered waist and precisely tailored details. The Sandringham is cut to contour the body for a streamlined look.
In two styles: The Kensington is a timeless style with a tapered waist, to wear over tailoring. The Wiltshire is classic tailoring with a modern cut for all occasions.
The Westminster is an easy fit inspired by our original trench coat, designed for additional layering.
Made in England
Proudly crafted in England, the origins and design are more than 100 years old. Born of a tradition of innovation and craftsmanship, the coat has been protecting from inclement weather ever since.
The early invention
Gabardine, the weatherproof fabric of the trench coat, was invented in 1879. Tightly woven and durable, it was developed for its breathable and lightweight qualities and has stood the test of time.
Evolution of an icon
The origins of the design can be found in the Tielocken coat, patented in 1912 and designed by Thomas Burberry. Now worn across the world, it has evolved over the years to become the much-recognised trench coat of today.
Personal to you
Add your initials to the inside of our iconic design. Choose from our distinctive fits and heritage colours and make it yours by adding up to three letters, embroidered for you in the north of England.
